Recently, the well-known activist VeryDarkBlackMan shared his experience in Lagos involving the famous singer Davido.
VeryDarkBlackMan disclosed that Davido had generously offered to provide financial assistance, including covering his rent for a whole year in Lagos. However, he politely declined the offer.
A few days ago, VeryDarkBlackMan made headlines after Davido flew him from Abuja to Lagos and accommodated him in a luxurious hotel room.
While explaining the series of events that unfolded between him and the Afrobeat singer, VeryDarkBlackMan mentioned that Davido paid for the hotel room for one day and even offered to cover the expenses for an entire year, which he graciously turned down.
Instead, after spending just one day in the room that Davido had booked, VeryDarkBlackMan chose to move to a cheaper room downstairs, paying for it himself.
The following day, he decided to leave the hotel and went to stay with Seun Kuti.
VeryDarkBlackMan revealed that Israel DMW contacted him and informed him that Davido wished to send him some money as a gesture of goodwill, but he respectfully declined the offer.
