“I was oppressed in front of my family” – Skales Vilifies EFCC’s raid of his house

Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has taken to social media to publicly expose the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over their recent actions at his house.

Skales decried that the agency subjected him to harassment and intimidation during a late-night raid on his home.

The controversy emanated when Skales averred on social media that EFCC officials arrived at his home for what they called ‘Routine Check’

The unanticipated invasion took place late at night, catching Skales and his family unaware.


In a series of tweets, Skales described it a  traumatic incident.

He claimed that EFCC officials used forceful tactics, including brandishing weapons, in front of his young daughter, wife, and household staff.

Skales vigorously inserted his innocence, emphasizing that he has never been involved in any criminal activities or fraud throughout his life.

The singer expressed his outrage, stating that the incident occurred shortly after he returned from an event and was attempting to put his child to sleep.


He also stated that his property suffered fault during the scenario.

Skales outpoured with fury in his social media posts, directing harsh criticism at the EFCC.

He accused the agency of misconduct and vowed that those involved in the raid would never find success in their endeavors.


He wrote;

“God go punish una @officialEFCC. I am not a criminal, I have never don fraud in my life, you came in with guns to oppress me in front of my daughter and her mother & my staff. you will never prosper in anything you do as long as you’re Efcc staff! You will always be a failure.”

“So U guys now carry out routine checks @officialEFCC ON FOLKS?Na una staff talk am. for all U made my family go thru this night” my new born & her mom. I hate U @officialEFCC. U will fail in whatever the works of ur hands do..success will never be URS. I’ll always speak against U.”IMG 1322
