Kemi Olunloyo, an investigative journalist, is celebrating the posthumous birthday of Davido’s first kid, Ifeanyi, whom he shares with his wife, Chioma.
On October 31st, a few days after his third birthday, the toddler drowned and was transported to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
His parents, Davido and Chioma, were said to have traveled to Ibadan for a family reunion and had left Ifeanyi with his minders, who couldn’t explain how he entered the pool without being spotted and drowned.
It’s been a year since the toddler died, and the investigative journalist is celebrating his 4th birthday today.
Taking to her Instagram page, Kemi noted how Ifeanyi would have been 4 years old today as she recounted the details of his painful demise.
Kemi revealed that the estate to date still denied that Ifeanyi was drowned in any of their properties and that Ifeanyi was buried secretly.

David Adeleke’s 4th child Ifeanyi would have been 4 years old today. The child reportedly drowned in a swimming pool at his rented Banana Island home on Halloween October 31, 2022. The estate however still denies till today that no one drowned on any property in their estate. The child was secretly buried in an unknown location”.
