“Mercy was my spec going into the house” – Pere tells Uriel in recent interview

Pere recently came up about his affection for Mercy Eke in an honest interview, stating that she was his perfect pick before he joined the Big Brother house. This revelation came during a candid discussion with Uriel, one of his BBN (Big Brother Nigeria) coworkers.

The timeframe of their interaction, however, is what makes this revelation intriguing. While Pere and Mercy did not originally create a deep friendship in the Big Brother house, they only genuinely connected in the show’s latter phases.

When they finally connected, their connection was evident, and both fans and fellow roommates were surprised that it took them so long to be together.

During Pere’s stay in the house, he expressed interest in Alex, saying she was the only girl in the house with whom he had a physical connection.

Meanwhile, Mercy had stated that she had a partner and was not interested in being romantically connected with anyone else. However, as the show progressed, the two housemates grew closer, even kissing on camera.
