Early Life
Ganiyu Ayinde Oyedepo was (born on May 20, 1970, 56 years old) in Lagos, hails from Omu-Aran, a town located in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
During a certain period, Ganiyu Ayinde Oyedepo resided in the Northern region of Nigeria, specifically in Zaria, Kaduna State. It was in Zaria that he made his home and established himself.
His father’s name remains unknown. However, it is worth noting that his father was the older brother of David Oyedepo, a renowned pastor and the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winner’s Chapel.
Education
Despite not attending renowned schools and needing more English fluency, Koko pursued his education. His only formal education was at a school in Aroloya, Lagos State.
Nonetheless, these circumstances did not hinder him from realizing his aspirations. He traveled to various English-speaking countries and established a flourishing social life among the upper echelons of society.
Career
During his early days, Koko Zaria had to undertake various menial jobs to make a living. His journey began in Oshodi, Lagos state, where he initially worked as a machinist specializing in engine turning. This was his first job, and he gained valuable experience. Later, at 13 to 14, he ventured into the field of mechanics in 1983/1984.
However, Koko Zaria’s ambitions continued. He quickly realized that he wanted more and soon found himself trading clothes at Oluwole Car Park on Lagos Island near Balogun Market.
In 1991, Koko Zaria took a significant step by joining the Union of Road Transport Workers. Despite opposition from his father, who insisted he pursue a career in law by going to school, Koko Zaria was determined to become one of the renowned Agbero boys.

For Koko Zaria to pursue his dreams in the transport business, the intervention of Brig. Gen. David Bamigboye, the first Governor of Kwara State and a close friend of Koko Zaria’s father, was necessary.
Through their dedication and determination, Koko Zaria and MC Oluomo rose to prominence and eventually became the chairman and deputy chairman, respectively, of the NURTW Lagos chapter.
However, in 2022, MC Oluomo, also known as Musiliu Akinsanya, was dismissed by the NURTW’s national leadership, resulting in the dissolution of the Lagos cabinet and marking the end of Koko Zaria’s tenure. Following this, he was appointed Deputy State Treasurer of Lagos State Parks and Garage in the same year.

Koko Zaria, a prominent figure in the Yoruba movie industry, debuted in 2016. Since then, he has been a part of several noteworthy films, including “Atunida,” directed by Sir Muyideen Ayinde. This captivating movie also starred renowned actors such as Kiki Bakare, Bolanle Ninalowo, and Jumoke Odetola.

Personal Life
Koko Zaria’s family life is unique, consisting of two wives and four children. He has been happily married to his first wife, Oyindamola Ajoke Kudirat Olope, for over 15 years. Together, they have four beautiful children, including two lovely daughters.
The first daughter, Leeyah Adyfemi Ayinde, was born on 23 September 2006, while the second daughter, Isabella, was born on 28 December 2013.
In 2018, tragedy struck the family when Oyindamola gave birth to twins, but unfortunately, they passed away shortly after birth. This was a difficult time for the family, as they had to cope with the loss of their precious babies.
However, fate had something else for Koko Zaria and his family. In December 2022, they were blessed with new twin boys, Jayden and Kayden. The arrival of these two little miracles brought joy and happiness back into their lives.
