Kenyan-Canadian actress Lupita Nyong’o recently ended her relationship with TV host Selema Masekela.
The news was confirmed by the “Black Panther” star herself through an Instagram post on Thursday evening.
Less than a year after publicly acknowledging their relationship, Lupita Nyong’o explained that their breakup was due to issues of deception.
Her lengthy Instagram post read, inter alia: “It is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust.
“I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception.”
