Serie A: Osimhen angry with Napoli owner over contract comment

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is annoyed by recent remarks made about his contract situation at the club by owner Aurelio De Laurentiis.

De Laurentiis discussed the possibility of selling Osimhen, who has less than two years left on his current contract, in an interview with Mediaset.

Despite having a verbal agreement with the Serie A champions, Osimhen has not yet signed a new contract.

Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, is upset with De Laurentiis’ comments and he and his client are considering a move away from Naples.

The relationship between the Nigeria international and the club was strained further by TikTok videos that were posted by the club last month.

Osimhen, who recently sustained a thigh injury while on international duty, has scored six goals in 10 appearances for Napoli this season.
