“They are using their connections to oppress him” Mixed reactions as Abuja court restrains Do2dtun from defaming D’banj

Social media users are reacting to an injunction from an Abuja court prohibiting Oladotun Ojuolape, popularly known as Do2dtun, from defaming D’banj.

On Wednesday evening, a Federal Capital Territory Chief District Court in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, banned Do2dtun from making defamatory tweets about musician D’banj on social media or any other platform.

The court also ordered the Deputy Inspector of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, to investigate a criminal complaint filed by D’banj against Do2dtun and report back to the court within two weeks.

Many people reacted negatively to it, pointing out the justice system’s hypocrisy in remaining mute throughout Do2dtun’s custody struggle while taking fast action against him for D’banj.

I am the only one. “When e reached D’banj, the court quickly responded,” Kelly Eazy stated. When Do2dtun complained, why didn’t they respond? Which way Nigeria, my country?

“At this point, it’s safe to say D’banj is not a better person,” one I Am Testimony wrote. Instead of requesting the sister to let the guy see his children, you’re here trying to silence him. Life is profound, tomorrow is bigger than today, and now is bigger than yesterday.

One Dat Spices Girl wrote, “This is very pathetic! D’banj and his sister are using their connections to oppress this guy. Very unfair. Let him see his kids

One Adetola Sofolahan wrote, “We all stood by you when you lost your son, in short, I prayed for your family for months. Don’t intimate Dotun tell your sister to do the right thing and let him see his daughters

One Geenah wrote, “Exactly. This is good. D’banj is not your wife, why are you calling his name?

One Dr Posh wrote, “Dotun wanted to see his kids but all he talked about was D’banj. Was Dotun married to D’banj

One The Genius Dr wrote, “It now looks as if the real fight is between D’banj and Dotun. Why is it so hard for them to allow him see his kids? What are the criminal allegations against Dotun to warrant this kind of restraint? This matter get as e be o

One Ola Cheedah wrote, “Serves him right, the guy no get sense dragging ur wife’s brother like say na he be ur wife

One Ifedinma John wrote, “He’s been a nuisance

One Chiamaka Lovely wrote, “Good for him! When you leave the so-called kids you said you care so much about and were busy dragging D’banj that is when I knew he was not serious but trying to drag D’banj and I love the step D’banj took”.
