Mourning WizKid clamps down in tears, gives consoling speech at late mum’s funeral (Video)

The past few months have presented quite a testing time for the Top Nigerian artist, Wizkid, who sadly lost his dearly beloved mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun.

On the 12th of October, WizKid, alongside his sisters and extended family members, organized a worthy funeral service in tribute to their late mother. The event enticed notable crowd of friends and colleagues, creating a decent turnout to pay their last respect.

Clips from the funeral rite service and commiserations circulated on the internet, showing the singer’s sweet moment in the company of his sons and talent manager Jada P.

Wizkid was spotted on video shedding tears, his heart heavy with sorrow during the service.

In his speech, Wizkid noted that the ache of losing their mother to the clutches of death runs deep and stings like a thorn in the heart. He offered up passionate prayers, asking for divine strength to rejuvenate him and his family in carrying the weight of this demise.

The Singer continued by extending his gratitude to all those who graced the ceremony with their presence. He also commended his family members for standing together in unity during this somber period.

It would be recalled that Juliana Balogun nee Oshineye Dawodu Olowosago died on August 18.
