“God knows about all things” – Neymar posts cryptic update after defeat to Uruguay

After suffering a knee injury against Uruguay on Tuesday, Brazil superstar Neymar resorted to social media to provide a mysterious update.

The Selecao were defeated 2-0 at the Centenario Stadium in a World Cup qualifier.

After tripping and falling during a sprint, Neymar was stretchered off towards the end of the first half.

In the game, the 31-year-old was substituted by Richarlison.

In Montevideo, Neymar refused to speak to media. He wrote on Instagram after leaving the stadium, “God knows about all things.”

Neymar did not speak to reporters in Montevideo. After leaving the stadium, he posted on Instagram that “God knows about all things.”

“All the honor and all the glory will always be yours, my Lord. No matter what, I have faith,” he said in the post.

Neymar has struggled with injuries for both club and country in recent years.

He has missed multiple months in each of the past two seasons with different ankle injuries and sat out two World Cup games in Qatar after going down in Brazil’s opener against Serbia.
