A throwback video of him arriving in Lagos some years ago has resurfaced, further showcasing his journey.
Rema, who recently wowed audiences with his performance of his hit single “Calm Down” at the 2023 Ballon d’Or, has once again grabbed headlines due to this video.
In the footage circulating on social media, Rema can be seen arriving in Lagos on September 26th, accompanied by two friends.
In just a few short years in Lagos, Rema has transformed from an unknown artist into one of the biggest and youngest faces of Afrobeats music, gaining global recognition.
His single “Calm Down” and its remix have received numerous accolades, including six nominations at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, solidifying his place in the industry.
