MC Oluomo: Wunmi Ajiboye under fire over ‘condescending’ message to husband, Segun Ogungbe

Nollywood actress Omowunmi Ajiboye has faced strong criticism for her message of gratitude to her husband, Segun Ogungbe.

It was earlier reported that the actress gave her mother a grand send-off in the ancient city of Osogbo, Osun state.

The event was attended by top dignitaries such as Faithia Williams, Madam Saje, Kemi Korede, Zainab Bakare, Dayo Amusa, Kwam1, and MC Oluomo, among others.

Although Segun Ogungbe, Omowunmi’s alleged estranged husband, was present at the burial, he kept a low profile and focused on their children.

After the burial ceremony, Omowunmi expressed her appreciation to her husband on Instagram.

Instead of using affectionate names, she referred to him as “Popsy Awon Oba,” which means the father of Kings and sir.

He reciprocated her gratitude and bestowed blessings upon her.

“Popsy Awon Oba. Thank you so much for coming sir. God will continue to be with you, Akanni Ade”.

To everyone’s surprise, Wunmi had actually shown appreciation for former NURTW chairman, MC Oluomo before her husband did. She showered him with powerful prayers and a lengthy caption.

This surprising revelation comes in the wake of Gistlover’s claim that MC Oluomo was the cause of their separation, as he allegedly provided Wunmi with a fully furnished new house, prompting her to leave her marital home.

The blog further alleged that Segun has reconciled with his first wife, Atinuke.

This explains why Segun Ogungbe appeared distant at his mother-in-law’s funeral, while MC Oluomo took center stage.

In the comment section, many criticized the Yoruba actor for leaving her husband for MC Oluomo, while others blamed Segun for entering into a polygamous marriage despite having a good wife.
