Nigerian actress Sandra Okunzuwa recently shared her techniques for acting in romantic movie scenes that involve kissing another actor.

In an interview, she explained that she has been trained to replicate the emotions and expressions required for these scenes, even using groans to convey a sense of passion and drama.

To ensure there is no exchange of saliva, Okunzuwa emphasized the importance of avoiding tongue contact when kissing on screen.

Additionally, she debunked the misconception that romantic kissing scenes on movie sets are conducive to developing real emotional bonds, stating that she has never developed such a connection with any actor she has kissed.


She said:

“I was told that the individuals could just play with their lips and eyes, then moan to give the impression that they were doing something intense. I have always abided by that, and I avoid any form of tongue contact or exchange of saliva because I don’t know who that other person has been with. I don’t know their medical condition.”

“Sometimes, people ask if I get emotionally attached to any actor that I kiss. The answer is actually ‘no’, because the place that one is filming in is not even so conducive. The air conditioner is off, and the lighting usually makes one feel hot.”
