Josephine Otabor, better known as Phyna, who won the previous season of Big Brother Naija, has been summoned by the Nigeria Police regarding her alleged failure to return a wig that she had rented.
A hair vendor brought up the issue, claiming that Phyna did not return the wig after the agreed rental period had ended.
Initially, Phyna denied these allegations.
However, in a recent video shared on her social media page, she admitted to renting the wig and claimed that she had returned it when she was first confronted by the hair vendor.
However, the vendor refused to accept the returned wig.
Phyna justified her decision to keep the wig by explaining that the damage caused by the hair vendor to her was far greater than the value of the rented wig.
She also mentioned that the hair vendor had visited her home with a group of police officers and had left a letter after they discovered she was not present.
Phyna said, “Yesterday, my younger sister called me and said I’ve visitors in my house. I asked who they were and she said two policemen, the hairstylist and one woman. I asked who the woman was but she said she doesn’t know the woman.
“And they dropped a letter. Because it’s from the police I want to know what to do. It reads, ‘This is the Nigeria Police. Invitation to the police.’ They now put my name, my address. Then it continued, ‘From the DPO Nigeria Police Ogudu.’ I don’t know where Ogudu is, but I will find out.
