A video depicts the amusing moment when renowned rappers Phyno and Cheque collaborated.
Phyno could be seen smoking Indian Hemp (Igbo) in the video, which was uploaded on Cheque’s Instagram stories, while Cheque caught the moment with his camera.
Cheque then asked Phyno for the material, but he refused, claiming that he wouldn’t be liable for spoiling him (Cheque).

Akinbi Bamidele Brett (born March 23, 1995), better known as Cheque, is a Nigerian rapper and musician. His 2020 song “Zoom” catapulted him to mainstream success.
He and Fireboy DML won Best Duo African HipHop at the All Africa Music Awards in 2021. Phyno’s Penthauze imprint currently represents him.
Phyno, real name Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike (born 9 October 1986), is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer.
He was regarded as among the most successful and influential African rappers ever. A native of Anambra State, Phyno was born and raised in Enugu State. He started his music career as a producer in 2003 and is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language. His debut studio album, No Guts No Glory, was released in 2014. It was supported by the singles “Ghost Mode,” “Man of the Year,” “Parcel,” and “O Set.”
