Elsie Okpocha, an entrepreneur and the ex-wife of BasketMouth, has urged women to refrain from blaming themselves when their partner cheats on them.
Drawing on the recent example of American rapper Cardi B, who publicly expressed her pain after being cheated on, Elsie Okpocha pointed out that even successful, funny, and attractive women can still experience infidelity.
She emphasized that in 80% of cases, a man’s decision to cheat has nothing to do with his partner’s qualities.
Okpocha advised women to stop internalizing blame and responsibility for the actions of their partners.
In conclusion, she encouraged women to choose partners who are kind and considerate, so that even if infidelity occurs, they are protected from humiliation and disrespect.
