BasketMouth’s ex-wife, Elsie Okpocha, took to Instagram to offer some details about their relationship.
She answered enthusiastic netizens who were constantly commenting in her DMs, advising her to return to her marriage. She said that it was wrong for them to do so because no woman truly wants to leave her marriage.
She stated that no one enters a marriage with the aim of leaving, and for a woman to walk out of her marriage, she must have exhausted all of her patience and tried all necessary to ensure that it works.
She warned people to mind their business and know that a marriage ending is not from lack of trying.
Let’s recall that back in December of 2022, an old video of BasketMouth and Elsie had emerged. They were kicking against divorce in an interview with The Wedding Channel Africa, which resurfaced online. In the interview, BasketMouth and Elsie vowed never to get divorced.
The comedian bragged about the fact that there is no good marriage that ends in divorce. Hence, while he and Elsie cannot divorce, they also stated that divorce is not on their table because they love each other.
Also record that just a few weeks back, Elsie had celebrated her son’s 16th birthday. The mother of three shared these photos of her son in a video and showered him with acronyms, counting his incredible strength and talent.
She further praised her son for filling her life with beauty while wishing him God’s endless blessing.
