DJ Cuppy, the famous Nigerian disc jockey, is thrilled as her billionaire father, Femi Otedola, is named one of Forbes’s top 20 richest individuals in Africa. Otedola ranks 20th on the list, while Dangote maintains his position as the wealthiest man in Africa.
Forbes reports that these 20 billionaires have a collective wealth of $82.4 billion, a slight increase from $81.5 billion in 2023.
South Africa claims six spots on the list, followed closely by Egypt with five, and Nigeria with four. Algeria, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe each have one billionaire on the list, while Morocco has two.
