Pere, a former contestant on BBNaija, recently shared his perspective on the idea of cars as investments.
He criticized those who spend their money on luxury cars and stressed that true assets are businesses and real estate, not vehicles.
During an episode of the ‘Spill With Phyna podcast’, Pere admitted that he does not own a car himself.
He confessed that he had sold his Lexus LS570 in order to invest the money into his movie.
“Car no be investment. A house is an asset, a business is an asset. Using all your savings to buy cars is unnecessary.
“Right now, I don’t own a car. I used to drive a brand new lexus LS570 but I sold it because I needed to put the money into my film. It’s an investment. At the end of the day, I made more that from the film.”
Additionally, Pere disclosed that he had gotten married in the US when he was 25 years old. Unfortunately, the marriage ended due to his ex-wife’s suspicion of him having an affair with another woman.
In the same episode, Pere also accused some BBNaija stars of living fake lives and portraying lifestyles on social media that are beyond their actual means.
This discussion took place on the latest edition of the Spill With Phyna podcast, hosted by Phyna, a former winner of Big Brother Naija.
In Pere’s words:
“Some of our BBN colleagues dey live fake life well well. A lot of them.”
The host, Phyna agreed with him, citing the claim by Khloe, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, who said she hasn’t flown in the economy class before.
