Johnny Drille, the Nigerian singer-songwriter, also known as John Ighodaro, openly admitted that he has never experienced the feeling of being heartbroken.
Known for his emotionally moving track “Ludo,” the vocalist affirmed on the microblogging site X that he has never personally encountered genuine heartbreak.
Despite this, Johnny Drille assured his fans that his heartbreak songs, although fictional, will still resonate deeply with listeners.
Additionally, the artist, who recently became a father, clarified that his compositions about heartbreak are purely imaginative and do not reflect his own experiences.
Johnny Drille wrote: “Never really experienced real heartbreak firsthand, so for every time I’m gonna make a song about heartbreak, just know I’m making it up. But i promise you it’ll slap still.”
