Groovy Mono, a Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, has spoken out about his experience following the explosion in Ibadan.
On Tuesday night, Kemi Filani said that an explosion occurred in Ibadan, Oyo State, causing panic among locals. At the time of reporting, the cause of the explosions was unknown, but the authorities verified the terrible incident and investigations were underway.
According to reports, the explosion wrecked premises and shattered the glass windows of the UCH School of Nursing hostel during the quake.
Groovy, who is currently in Ibadan for undisclosed reasons, revealed that he heard the explosion from his hotel room. Pleading to his Maker, he stated that the pictures and clips he had seen from the explosion were scary.
Checking up on others, he questioned if they were all safe.
“I dey Ibadan dey shoot movie oh. Heard the explosion from my hotel room. God Abeg. The pictures & clips I’m seeing are scary. Hope everyone is safe”.
