Autograph seeker sues Kanye West for assault

Kanye West, a well-known American singer, is facing a lawsuit over allegations of assault and battery from a fan who approached him for an autograph.

In a report by TMZ, it is stated that the incident took place in 2022, at DTLA, when the autograph seeker approached Kanye.

The man claimed that he requested an apology from the singer, who responded with the question, “Apology for what?”

Following this exchange, Kanye allegedly attacked him multiple times, causing severe injuries.

According to the man, one of Kanye’s associates attempted to intervene and stop the attack, but Kanye vehemently refused, instructing them to leave and get his children.

The man further claimed that Kanye shouted, “I’m going to make a example of you,” before delivering a punch to his face.

As a result of the assault, the man is seeking damages, citing emotional distress as a consequence of the incident.

Additionally, his wife is also suing Kanye West, alleging a loss of consortium due to the impact on their marital companionship caused by the incident.
