Simisola Kosoko, sometimes known as Simi, is a Nigerian singer who has bemoaned the suffering of ordinary Nigerians as a result of the country’s collapsing economy.

Simi expressed her outrage about the country’s suffering on the microblogging platform X.

The vocalist declared that before everything falls apart, something needs to give.

In her words: “People are suffering. I don’t even know what to say. Something has to give before everything crumbles.”
