SZA to perform at 2024 Grammy Awards

SZA, the artist with the highest number of Grammy Award nominations this year, is scheduled to give a live performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The talented musician, known for her hit song “Snooze,” has been recognized with nine nominations.

Among them are Record and Song of the Year for her chart-topping track “Kill Bill,” as well as Album of the Year for her second album, “SOS.”

Furthermore, SZA has received nominations for Best R&B Song with “Snooze,” Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Love Language,” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers on “Ghost in the Machine.”

Previously, the artist, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, experienced disappointment when she was overlooked by the Recording Academy.

In 2018, despite being nominated for five Grammy awards for her debut album, “Ctrl,” she did not emerge victorious in any of the categories she was nominated in.

In 2022, however, she won a Grammy for her collaboration with Doja Cat, Kiss Me More.

In addition to SZA, previously announced performers include Olivia Rodrigo, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Luke Combs, Burna Boy, Travis Scott, U2 and Joni Mitchell, who will make her Grammy performance debut.

The 2024 Grammy Awards will be hosted by Trevor Noah, a two-time Grammy nominee, for the fourth consecutive year.

The ceremony will be broadcast on 4 February on CBS from the Arena in Los Angeles.
