Barcelona defeated Osasuna 1-0 in La Liga, with Vitor Roque scoring the game-winning goal.
Despite dominating possession, Xavi Hernandez’s team was unable to break the deadlock until Roque’s key assist at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
Roque, who was brought in by Xavi in the 60th minute, made an immediate impact by heading home Joao Cancelo’s cross from the left.
Roque’s first goal for Barcelona came in only his sixth appearance, therefore it was a significant milestone.
The Brazilian midfielder has faced challenges since joining Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense.
Osasuna’s task was made even more difficult when Unai Garcia received his second yellow card in the 67th minute, reducing them to 10 men for the remainder of the match.
