There has been a lot of grumbling from the public about the recent increase in the costs of products and petrol, and it appears even celebrities are not immune to the price increase, despite the fact that they are supposed to be better off financially than the general public.
BBNaija alum Uriel took to Instagram to complain about the price increase, claiming that the price of a shower gel she uses has risen since the previous time she purchased it.
Uriel also mentioned that she had to ask the cashier to delete certain items she had purchased, and that she felt embarrassed about it. To cap it off, Uriel stated that someone requested for a selfie following her ordeal with the cashier.
It’s surprising that Uriel came out to complain about the price increase when she seemed to be doing well for herself, from getting endorsement deals to running her own business. However, the latest price increase is one of the greatest Nigeria has seen in a long time, thus it appears to be impacting everyone.
