Nigerian entrepreneur Adeola Adeyemi, also known as Diiadem, has criticized Nigerians for taking advantage of the economic circumstances to raise food prices.
The cosmetics entrepreneur, via her Snapchat account, questioned how the rise in the dollar affects catfish in the market. She expressed her disappointment in Nigerians who take advantage of things, stating that they will only change when they watch people die.
Diiadem echoed the need to help ourselves rather than continue to destroy each other. She observed that market women who are unfamiliar with the monetary issue are taking advantage of it.
“Some Nigerians will not cease to amaze me. How does dollar affect catfish in the market?
How does dollar increase affect basic things? I’m tired of people taking advantage of everything. Until hunger finishes everybody then those idiots increasing food stuff will learn.
How will the poor survive?
We need to help ourselves and not keep doing ourselves.
Even market people who don’t understand what this dollar issue is all about are taking advantage of it!
