Laycon, a reality celebrity and former Big Brother Naija Lockdown Season 5 winner has spoken out about some difficult times he endured a few years back.
Laycon claims that in 2013, he used toilet water to soak garri for drinking because he was starving and didn’t have any money or belongings.
He also stated that the garri he soaked in toilet water did not contain sugar, and he did not have enough money to purchase a sachet of water, so he had no choice but to soak the garri in sewage water before eating it.
“One of my lowest lows was using Shodeinde Hostel toilet water to soak garri in 2013. I was alone in my wing that weekend, and I was starving. I wasn’t hungry o, I was starving. So I soaked Garri with no sugar and used toilet tap water to drink it… as I Dey soak the garri, water dey commot for my eyes.”
