AFCON: Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali bags chieftaincy title in his hometown

Stanley Nwabali, the Super Eagles’ goalkeeper who shone at the 2024 AFCON finals with his remarkable saves, has now been bestowed with a prestigious chieftaincy title in his community.

Nwabali was honored with the title of Ugo Egbema, “The Pride of Egbema Kingdom,” by His Royal Majesty, Nzeobi Evaristus Amida, the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom.

The traditional ruler explained that the title was given to Nwabali for bringing pride and glory to his people.

Additionally, Nwabali was recently awarded with a state honor and a generous gift of N20 million by the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara.
