According to reports, American rapper Nicki Minaj has accused her colleague Megan Thee Stallion of trying to exploit her situation with Tory Lanez in order to gain publicity.

Minaj claims that Megan Thee Stallion wanted to create a similar scenario to the infamous incident involving Rihanna and Chris Brown.

To refresh our memories, Tory Lanez was recently sentenced to ten years in prison for assault with a semi-automatic firearm and two other felonies.

This was after Megan Thee Stallion accused him of shooting her in the feet at Kylie Jenner’s house in 2020.

During a recent X space session with her fans, Nicki Minaj asserted that Megan Thee Stallion took legal action against Tory Lanez because she desired a “Rihanna moment.”

Minaj is referring to the fact that Rihanna gained fame and commercial success after speaking out about the physical abuse she experienced at the hands of her then-boyfriend, Chris Brown.

While Chris Brown faced consequences for his actions, Rihanna became a beloved figure in the music industry due to the support she received from fans.

In essence, Nicki Minaj believes that Megan Thee Stallion was eagerly pursuing a similar “moment” for herself by taking legal action against Tory Lanez.

She said, “This is so obvious. She [Megan Thee Stallion] wanted a Rihanna moment so bad.

“But here is the thing, Rihanna is known for just being herself; you-get-what-you-see, you-see-what-you-get type of vibe.
