Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s Lagos governorship candidate in the 2023 election, has condemned Seyi Law as a disgusting and dishonest individual who spreads falsehoods, hatred, and intolerance.
In a recent interview, Seyi Law alleged that Gbadebo, the Labour Party governorship candidate, promised to make traditional rulers “go under the bridge” if he won the 2023 governorship election in Lagos state.
However, reacting to Seyi Law’s statement, Gbadebo shared a video in which he promised to restore the authority of traditional rulers which he claimed was undermined by colonisers and adopted by subsequent governments.
Rhodes-Vivour believes that restoring the authority of traditional rulers would grant them the power to act without needing clearance from state governments.
He wrote, “Hear for yourself and decide whether to reward a party and their vile and dishonest supporters who spread falsehood, hate and bigotry. Or we can embrace a vision for Lagos where no one is left behind. #ourlagos”
