Bayern Munich has declared that Thomas Tuchel will quit his position as manager at the end of the current season.

The Bundesliga champions lost 3-2 against Bochum, putting more pressure on Tuchel.

Bayern is now eight points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the table.

It was also their third consecutive setback, following a 1-0 loss to Lazio in the opening leg of their Champions League last-16 encounter last week.

“We have agreed that we will end our working relationship at the end of this season,” said Tuchel.
