Nigerian bride Deborah Ocheido faces backlash for her wedding message promoting modest and decent dressing among women.
She received criticism after sharing photos of her traditional wedding attire on social media and stating that she didn’t need to dress provocatively to look beautiful.
Despite the negative reactions, Ocheido stood firm in her beliefs and values, declaring that she will always be outspoken about her principles.
The bride emphasized that she is unapologetically different and refuses to be shamed for her convictions.
She wrote;
“I will be loud about my faith!
I will be loud about my values!
I will be loud about my beliefs!
My name is Deborah!
I come from a long line of warriors( check the Bible)
I dare to be different!
You can’t shame me
You can’t mock me
You can’t push me out of these streets”
