Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, is filled with optimism regarding the team’s chances of winning the Premier League title.
He believes they are on the right path and it is just a matter of time before they achieve this goal.
Pochettino highlighted the club’s strategy of signing young talents as key to their success, emphasizing that it takes time to develop these players but he has full confidence in their abilities.
Despite currently being in 11th place in the league table, Pochettino remains positive about the team’s performance.
He pointed out their recent accomplishments, such as reaching the final of the Carabao Cup and reaching the semi-finals of the FA Cup, as evidence of their progress and potential.
According to him, they should be in the top four in the Premier League, Pochettino said.
“We understood very well what it means to change the direction of the club. Now it is entirely different.
“We want the best for the club, for the owners, for the players and for our fans,” said Pochettino at his pre-match interview ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday.
“Yes, one day we will win the Premier League.
“But if not, for sure another coaching staff will win it because this process needs to happen.”
