England 0-1 Brazil: 17-year-old Endrick makes history with goal at Wembley

England lost 1-0 against Brazil on Saturday night, with adolescent wonder Endrick emerging as the match’s hero.

The Three Lions’ unbeaten streak at Wembley Stadium came to an end when the 17-year-old substitute scored the game’s only goal.

Endrick’s goal makes him the youngest player to score in a senior men’s match at Wembley.

The last time England lost at Wembley Stadium was in October 2020, when they were defeated by Denmark in the Nations League.

Gareth Southgate’s men struggled to create clear chances throughout the encounter, even though boasting one of the best squads in Europe.

Brazil on the other hand, had a fair game, with Lucas Paqueta hitting the post, after a poor defending from their opponents.

Endrick could have also doubled his tally at stoppage time, but missed a close range effort, to end the match 1-0.
