FlyCemAir under fire over flight incident with influencer Shamiso Mosaka

FlyCemAir received backlash and controversy after a statement was released regarding the expulsion of TV presenter Shamiso Mosaka from flight 5Z 0329.

Mosaka’s livestream on social media brought attention to accusations of discrimination that led to her removal from the flight.

The incident took place at King Shaka International Airport in Durban, prompting FlyCemAir to acknowledge what had happened.

According to their statement, Mosaka behaved disruptively and was verbally abusive after boarding late, refusing to follow instructions from the cabin crew.

FlyCemAir expressed regret for the 90-minute delay caused by the incident, explaining that aviation safety regulations prohibited them from allowing Shamiso Mosaka to remain on board.
