Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, a Nigerian filmmaker and actress, has disclosed why she was unable to celebrate her husband’s birthday and 28th wedding anniversary, which occurred around a week ago.
The actress revealed that on her wedding anniversary and husband, Captain Mathew Ekeinde’s birthday, March 23rd, she was on a film set.
Omotola Jalade softly announced her return to work, explaining that the movie set she was on had almost no network and that she was filming late.
The mother of four praised her husband for being a gift to her and shared a video collage compilation created by him on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.
The 46-year-old, who earlier revealed that she made two films and features in one, tagged her husband and said she will see him soon.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde astonished fans in 2023 when she shared a photo of herself and her husband, Captain Mathew, to mark their 27th wedding anniversary.
Omotola, identified as Omosexy, took to Instagram to celebrate the double event, sharing a sultry bedroom selfie that sparked teasing and gushing from her fans.
In the shot, the parents of four are shown in bed half-naked, with Mathew’s arm tattooed with his wife’s nickname ‘Omosexy’.
