I’m not desperate to be President – Peter Obi

Peter Obi will be declared president very soon - LP

Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general election, emphasized that his goal was for Nigeria to prosper rather than an obsession with becoming President.

He made these remarks upon receiving the LEADERSHIP Politician of the Year 2023 award at the annual LEADERSHIP Conference and Awards in Abuja on Tuesday.

Peter Obi expressed disappointment that Ukraine, in the midst of conflict, was providing aid to Nigeria when just Niger State alone could potentially feed all of Africa.
