VeryDarkMan, a popular Nigerian activist and social media figure, is officially free after nine days in police custody.
The prominent activist regained his freedom late today, Easter Sunday.
His lawyers, Sowore, Kefiano, and Deji Adeyanju, helped to secure his release.
Recalls that VeryDarkMan was arrested by authorities on March 22, 2024, for allegedly cyberbullying actress Tonto Dikeh.
@officialstelladimokokorkus, an Instagram blogger, broke the news, confirmed by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, who praised Tonto Dikeh.
Doris Ogala also resorted to social media to wish Verydarkman a good stay in KiriKiri and praised Tonto Dikeh for detaining the critic.
