Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has clarified her relationship with a man she has been seen with on social media.
In a recent Instagram post, the mother of three made it clear that she is still single and that the man in question is just a colleague, not her lover or husband.
Laide Bakare explained that he has played the role of her husband in movies like Oko Laide and urged the media to stop assuming they are in a romantic relationship.
“Stop it, you guys. I told you the other time that I made a video about my colleague, it was on a movie set. We played husband and wife, lover, it was almost like 3 movies back to back. Please he isn’t my husband, the title of the movie is Oko Laide”.
Captioning the video, the actress who was recently berated over her comment on singer, Portable’s birthday post wrote:
“Pls hear me out 🙏 I Beg you 🙏 I’m still husbandless o 🤣 Na movie 🎥 o.”
Laide Bakare has been married twice before, once to Olumide Okufulure and then to Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo, with whom she shares a daughter, Simi.
