In a recent social media incident, Lerato Kganyago, a well-known radio broadcaster, confronted a man who had been pestering her while falsely claiming to have children with her. The confrontation occurred on X, where Lerato posted a video of the individual making false demands.

The footage showed the man speaking Zulu, stating:

“Hello Lerato, may I please see the children?” This was followed by another post from him, stating, “Hi Lerato Kganyago, I still haven’t received any response from you. Or is it better if we handle things formally and take the legal route? I want to see my child.” He also mentioned, “I have a child that I need to see and they are prohibiting me from seeing the child. I have assets, a house and a car and they are also prohibiting me from seeing, getting those.”

Lerato reacted to the scenario with amazement, saying, “At first, I believed it was a joke. A year later, this is still occurring. I hope your family gets you all the aid you need because I only have two pets.

She clarified, “I don’t know you, and I don’t have children with you or anyone. If anyone knows this gentleman, please DM me. I’ve been harassed on my phones, at work, through my colleagues. I know this is a serious problem, and I pray your family sees this and assists you!”
