Lizzo slams men who use her name to insult women

American singer Lizzo has revealed her decision to retire from the music industry.

The singer, who has received multiple accolades including four Grammy Awards, expressed her frustration with constantly being ridiculed for her appearance.

Lizzo, aged 35, shared her thoughts in a heartfelt Instagram post where she highlighted the impact of bullying for attention.

“I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet,” she said. “All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it.”

She continued, “I’m constantly up against lies being told about me for clout & views..my character being picked apart by people who don’t know me and disrespecting my name. I didn’t sign up for this s**t – I QUIT.”

The singer, known for her powerful vocals and empowering lyrics, has also been honored with a Billboard Music Award, a BET Award, and two Soul Train Music Awards throughout her successful career.
