Mrs Aderemi, an American woman, breaks her silence following a series of negative impressions around her marriage to a young Nigerian man.
Mrs. Aderemi published a wonderful video just 24 hours after marrying her Nigerian boyfriend, with whom she had a long-distance relationship.
The video quickly went viral, prompting comments from people who chastised the couple for their significant age difference.
In reaction to the allegations, the American woman clarified her age of 70 and denied being his partner’s mother.
“Let me say this, thank you alll for the positive and negative comments. 70 years old? Never! His mother? Never! But keep it coming, I’m enjoying it,” she stated.
When asked if she’d let her son marry someone her age, she said, “Please tell me my age since you think you know? “N my child can marry who make them happy.”
