Omowunmi, the late singer’s widow, was finally served with a court order requiring a DNA test.
According to reports the Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu had issued an order requiring Omowunmi to be furnished with notice of the pending DNA test application.
The legal team informed the court that the Sheriff had attempted to serve Wunmi with the court process twice but failed, and the Chief Magistrate ordered that Wunmi be served by posting the court process at her last known address.
In an update, she has finally received the court order. The court order letter was affixed to the mother of one’s dwelling gate.
Recall that following the singer’s death, many, including Mohbad’s father, have been clamoring for a DNA test to be done on Liam, his son, to ascertain his paternity.
Omawunmi had made it known that she wouldn’t be doing a DNA test for her son. She gave reasons and said that no one had the right to tell her to do it.
Reacting to it, actress Sarah Martins slammed Omowunmi, calling her a senseless widow, as she questioned why the mother of one was scared of doing DNA and pondered if she didn’t want to clear her name and protect her husband’s legacy.
