Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi has voiced his support for the late singer Mohbad’s father in requesting a DNA test for his grandson.
In an interview with TVC News, Yomi Fabiyi emphasized the family’s right to seek closure and mentioned the pain Mohbad’s father is experiencing.
Fabiyi pointed out that if the court orders a DNA test, Mohbad’s widow would have to comply. He stated that everyone involved is considered a suspect in the ongoing case.
“Mohbad’s family has the right to ask for a DNA. His dad is carrying the burden of pain. He wants closure. The wife can’t say no if the court gives a verdict for her to do it. Everybody is a suspect in this case”.

Since Mohbad’s death, there have been calls for a DNA test on his son Liam to determine paternity. Mohbad’s father and Cynthia Morgan have both supported this idea.
Initially, Omawunmi had said she would comply with a court-ordered DNA test, but has since changed her mind, stating that no one has the authority to force her to do so.
