Man City vs Arsenal: Referee Taylor must be happy – Guardiola

Man City finally set to announce Haaland capture, by activating his release clause

Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager, remarked that referee Anthony Taylor should be pleased with the clean game he officiated during their 0-0 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola stated that nothing went wrong during the match, and expressed this sentiment in a post-game interview with Man City’s website.

He said;

“I have nothing to say on the referee. The game was clean.

“Anthony Taylor must be happy because nothing wrong happened.

“The game was fun and well-fought. When the referee becomes more important than the players it happens.

“Today was perfect from both sides and the referee was really good. Everyone defended the ball and their position, but the rest was okay.”
