Without taking a touch, Fernandes unleashed a thunderous shot that left Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher rooted to the spot, leveling the score.

Fernandes’ sensational strike marked his 50th Premier League goal for Manchester United.

United capitalized on their pace, with Kobbie Mainoo scoring a brilliant goal to give them a 2-1 lead in the second half.

However, Liverpool fought back, earning a penalty that Mohamed Salah calmly converted to ensure both teams shared the points.
