Arteta beats Guardiola to win ‘Best Premier League Coach’ Award

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has promised to bring success to the club after being honored as the ‘Best Premier League Coach’ at the Globe Soccer Awards, beating out Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola for the prestigious title.

Despite finishing behind City in the league standings in recent seasons, Arteta’s accomplishments were celebrated at the event in Sardinia, Italy.

During the 2023/24 season, Arsenal earned 89 points under his guidance, their best performance since the Invincibles’ 90-point campaign in 2003/04.

Arteta’s team also set a new club record with 28 wins out of 38 matches and a record-breaking 91 goals scored.

Their unbeaten record against the ‘Big Six’ added another layer of achievement to their impressive season.

In his acceptance speech, Arteta rallied Arsenal supporters, stating, “Win, Win, win and win. That’s what we want.

“We have a team full of enthusiasm and so hungry to win trophies. We know the competition, but we believe we can do it. So we are going to give it a real go,” he vowed.
