Eniola Ajao, a Nigerian actress and filmmaker, recently shared her reasons for keeping her 21-year-old son Ayomide off social media.
In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi TV, Eniola explained that the decision was made before she entered the movie industry.
She revealed that she was often teased by her colleagues for being a “small girl” without children, which prompted her to finally introduce her son to the public in 2022 on his 20th birthday.
The mother of one said in part:
“It was something I decide (sic) a long time, a long time decision I took before thoughts of coming into the industry. He will be 22 in May and it wasn’t easy. When I had him, I felt no man would want to marry me with a kid, so with that mindset, I had to keep it. I kept a lot out of the public, so I just decided.”
Eniola Ajao, who made her acting debut in 2004, is one of the last children of her parents along with her twin sister.
