Following a statement from her in-laws, social media users have rallied to support Nollywood actress Wofai Fada.
On Saturday, Creebhills revealed that the movie diva had announced her imminent wedding to Taiwo Cole, the love of her life. Wofai published images of herself and her partner on her Instagram page. Wofai displayed her engagement ring in one of the images, while another showed her and her boo from behind.
Following the announcement, Wofai Fada’s in-laws released a disclaimer, rejecting her marriage to their son.
According to the statement, no acquaintances, family, or friends are aware of a marriage between their son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole, and Wofai Fada, and no consent has been issued.
They advised the public to disregard any publications and documents being circulated about the wedding.
The news created a stir online as many slammed the family for their tribalism and hatred for the comedian.
